Space are delighted to have been officially appointed by Graham-Bam to complete the full specialist glass partitioning package of the new Acute Services Block as part of the Ulster Hospital redevelopment.
The Acute Services Block is the second project within the framework and replaces the outdated existing main ward block and other specialist acute services within the hospital estate. This 31,000m2, eight storey building sits adjacent to the new Inpatient Ward Block and the existing Critical Care Complex (CCC).
Accommodation will include 166 beds to include 144 ensuite, single bedrooms and 4-bed wards, a new Emergency Department, Assessment Unit, Specialist Wards, Inpatient Imaging Department and Support Services.
The mammoth £95M project is due for completion Summer 2019.
